Travellers planning to catch flights to Milan this year now have the option of heading to Bergamo Orio al Serio Airport and reaching the Italian city via a new Terravision coach service.
The transport option, which was introduced last week, operates to Milan Central station via Cologno Monzese.

Prices start from €5 (£4) one-way and the journey lasts approximately one hour.

The first coach will depart from Bergamo Orio al Serio Airport at 04:05 local time and the last will set off at 02:50, leaving every 20 minutes throughout the day but less frequently at night.

Terravision vice president Yakuta Rajabali said the route provides approximately 42 departures daily and represents the most cost effective way of transferring from the Bergamo airport to central Milan.

She added: ‘As a company, Terravision aims to provide a high-quality transfer service at the lowest possible price.’

Travellers heading to northern Italy can also fly to Malpensa Airport, which is located 40km north-west of Milan’s city centre.
